The first three months of the year were satisfactory. Net profit for the period increased by EUR 2.4m. Q1 revenue was up 20% compared with the year-earlier period to EUR 47.5m. EBIT for the three-month period was EUR 6.3m, up 109% compared with the year-earlier period. SimCorp maintains its expectations for 2012 of revenue growth measured in local currencies of more than 5% and an EBIT margin exceeding 22%. At 31 March 2012, contracts equalling EUR 150.7m of the projected 2012 revenue had been secured, EUR 10.1m more than at the same time last year.

At SimCorp’s annual general meeting the shareholders approved the Board of Directors’ report on the company and the annual report for 2011. The shareholders re-elected Jesper Brandgaard as chairman of the Board, and Hervé Couturier and Simon Jeffreys as Board members. Further, Peter Schütze was elected as new vice-chairman of the Board. KPMG and PwC (PwC and Grant Thornton merged in 2011) were re-elected as the company’s auditors. Apart from the Board’s proposal 6B, the shareholders passed the Board’s resolutions, including the amendments to the Articles of Association, for the approval at an extraordinary general meeting.

In SimCorp’s Annual Report 2011, the ex-dividend date is set to be 29 March 2012. It appears that it is not practically possible to execute the ex-dividend date the same date as holding the Annual General Meeting. Consequently SimCorp corrects the ex-dividend date to be 30 March 2012.
